About Me:

I'm a struggling writer and an editor of specfic; I live with a bunch of roomates, five fish and two cats in a renovated Victorian in the Oldest City; I love food and the processes of cooking and eating it, especially if it's something new and regional-specific, extra points if it's seasonal and healthy. My dad's half Cuban, my mom's Irish and Welsh, and we lived in Turkey, Italy, Japan and Scotland, so my tastes are varied. Next year, I'm going to attempt to eat only seasonal foods (as close to my climate zone as possible) for a whole year and see how that goes.
